The seed potato cost is very important component in total production and account for 30 to 70% which varies depending on the country or region. Tuber size an factor decide requirement per unit area. Seed affects yield, graded marketable tuber yields. Standard of 25–125 g weight (30–55 mm) known as tubers India. Obtaining achieving higher potential cultivars. profile can be reduced expanded by altering inter intra row spacing, controlling days growth planting late killing vines/haulm early, regulating inputs like fertilizer water etc. An ideal combination plant population, width, in-row spacing a particular variety were major factors optimizing size. Variation bulking ability different genotypes results variation proportion among varieties. 70–80 haulm found most suitable getting high Proper management N, P K fertilizers considered maximize yield attain desirable quality. Variability nitrogen dose/ha was observed ranged from 100–150 between regions world. Hence proper above Agro-techniques should adopted programme region size/plantable tubers.
